Mila B Creative creates hands-on creative experiences that bring people together.
We run polymer clay and eco resin workshops for teams, friends and communities across Northamptonshire and beyond. One week we might be helping a team switch off from their screens, the next we’re celebrating a birthday with a group of best friends, or welcoming new faces to a cosy community workshop at our Corby studio or a favourite local venue.
Whoever you are and however you come, the idea is the same: a chance to step away from the day-to-day, switch off, connect and enjoy doing something different together.

Meet Our founder
Meet Louise
Founder, People Professional & Creative Human
Mila B Creative was created by Louise, a Northamptonshire-born and raised creative with 20 years experience working in HR and People.
Alongside her career in People Leadership, Louise has always had a creative side. From a young age, she found joy in making; taking simple materials and turning them into something colourful, personal and meaningful.
Her creative journey began with jewellery design and recycled materials, before discovering a love for glasswork and lampworking. She spent years developing her skills and learning from some of the UK’s leading artists, eventually building her own product brand, Tootsies Handmade, which she ran for more than a decade.
But it was her 20 years working with people that ultimately changed the direction of her creativity.
Louise has seen first-hand how busy, demanding and sometimes overwhelming working life can be. She's experienced the pressures employees face herself, and witnessed the impact that workload, change, stress, isolation and the constant juggle of work and life can have on people's wellbeing and connection at work.
And she kept coming back to one simple thought: What if work gave people more opportunities to properly switch off, connect and just enjoy being together, what benefits that will bring to people and their teams?
That question became the inspiration behind Mila B Creative.
Combining her experience in HR, people, wellbeing and workplace culture with her love of making, Louise creates hands-on creative experiences designed to bring people together.
Today, Mila B Creative uses creativity as a way to support team building, workplace wellbeing, employee engagement and people-led culture; creating experiences where teams can step away from the day-to-day, have conversations, try something new and enjoy being together.
And yes, there is still plenty of making involved.
And it isn’t only workplaces that need more connection. As a Northamptonshire girl through and through, Louise wanted to create something for her own community too: a place where anyone can turn up, solo or with a friend, sit down at a table full of colour and leave with something beautiful and a few new faces to say hello to. That’s why, alongside team and private events, Mila B Creative runs community workshops across Corby, Kettering and beyond, open to everyone aged 8 and up.
From Polymer Clay and Glass Bead Making to Eco Resin homeware, Louise believes the craft is simply the vehicle.
The craft is the activity. Connection is the outcome.
